The RADView™ PD dosimeter badge is a credit card size radiation dosimeter that provides visual measurement of absorbed radiation dose. The film develops a distinctive and characteristic color upon exposure to ionizing radiation, becoming progressively darker in proportion to absorbed dose.
RADView PD – This indicator is designed specifically for first responders and is currently available only to those organizations. Supply of these dosimeters is very limited at this time. The range of this dosimeter is 50 – 1000 mSv. This indicator also includes protective action guidance based on information published by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This dosimeter has a very short service life of 3 months.
Purchase of RADView Products is NOT recommended for persons residing in the US who are solely concerned about increased environmental levels of airborne radioactivity reaching the US as the result of the ongoing accident at the Fukushima Nuclear Plant in Japan.
