RADeCO is pleased to offer the RADView PD and NR Dosimeters to any government organization that is responsible for radiation monitoring of first responders, military, or members of the public. However, at this time, we are not able to sell directly to the public. If you believe that you should carry or possess one of our indicators, please contact your local emergency response organization and inquire about availability.
Why not sell directly to the public?
We are currently addressing the needs of Japan and we want those purchasing our products to have a need and guidance from competent authority to interpret the results should an exposure occur.
Product Summery
RADView™ Nuclear Radiation (NR) Indicators are accident dosimeters designed for civilian use to provide visual indication of external exposures to gamma or beta radiation. The indicator is intended for use in the earlyphase of an emergency where decisions on protective actions or the needfor medical treatment need to be made rapidly. They are not a substitute for quantitative instrumentation used for radiation measurement.
RADView NR Indicators provide an over-or-under estimation of exposure in milliSieverts (mSv) at levels of 350 mSv and 2000 mSv.The indicator will not respond to neutron or alpha radiation, including the radiation emitted by environmental radon. The RADView™ dosimetry process employs a self developing radiation sensitive film that is calibrated for radiation use. RADView™ NR Indicators are not be used as an occupational dosimeter.
Purchase of RADView Products is NOT recommended for persons residing in the US who are solely concerned about increased environmental levels of airborne radioactivity reaching the US as the result of the ongoing accident at the Fukushima Nuclear Plant in Japan.
If you are inquiring about quantities less than 250 dosimeters, please contact one of the below distributors.
